How to Install DE Dreads

*view the SE tut for instructions on sectioning

a. detangle your section
b. seperate it in two vertically
c. place the joint/middle of the dread on the part
d. pin up the part of the dread that you won't be using for braiding
e. place the dread as close to the scalp as possible
f. twist the two sections around the dreads
h-i. OPT. This step is perfect for those with short hair or hair that is too slick to do a tight braid. Take an elastic and secure your hair close to the dread's middle. If you're installing on short hair then all you have to do is place an elastic on your ends to keep your hair attatched to the dread
j. seperate the hair into two sections
k. using the two sections of hair and the dread as three braiding legs, braid your hair around the dreads.
l. secure with an elastic
m. unclip the other end of the dread
